Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy is a great way to exercise in a near-weightless environment, providing a soothing workout where land-based exercise is not possible. This suits post-operative patients, chronic pain, reduced mobility and various other musculoskeletal injuries.

Currently we are only undertaking Individual Hydrotherapy sessions where the Physiotherapist will be in the pool with you. The goal of the hydrotherapy sessions is that once comfortable with your program you will then be able to perform it independently at a time that suits you.

An initial appointment with the Physiotherapist in the rooms is required prior to the pool session. This is required to go through a thorough history, physical examination, and hydrotherapy questions to determining if hydrotherapy is suitable for your current condition/injury.

Our Forresters Beach clinic is easy to locate 500m along Bellevue Rd. Just look for the big building high on the right and a large blue and white FBI sign on the street. Up the concrete driveway is a large carpark with plenty of spots.

We are at the top of the stairs or wheelchair ramp and are lucky to have access to one of the few hydrotherapy pools on the Central Coast.

The water is clean and warm and we usually perform our Hydrotherapy sessions around lunchtime, as it is a nice quiet time in the pool.

Please bring swimmers, a towel, and a change of warm clothes for afterwards.
